This year's focus for kids entering K-fifth grade is on learning the Lord's Prayer through a fun and exciting safari-themed program. Summer music camp: Praise-Rocks @ CLC Summer Music Camp will be held June 15-26 at Christ Lutheran Church, 41 S. Rohlwing Road in Palatine. This two-week intensive, half-day music camp is from 9 a.m. to noon and costs $150. Open to all instruments and vocalists in sixth to 12th grade. Beginners are welcome. Students will play in bands, receive instrument instruction from professional musicians and teachers, lead worship, and get a chance to show their skills at the final concert.
