Battle of the Bands 2009: Applications are now available for the Mount Prospect Library's first-ever Battle of the Bands competition, to be held Saturday, May 16. Teen musicians age 19 or under, who are in a musical group, band or orchestra, must submit an application by April 30 to compete for the opportunity to play to a live audience and win prizes.
