Easton Kowalski tossed a 5-inning no-hitter as Crystal Lake South's baseball team rolled over Chicago Payton 14-0 Saturday. Gavin Meyer and Evan Devoe each had doubles for CL South (4-1)

Burlington Central 8, Batavia 2: Nick Hahn allowed just 5 hits and went 3-for-3 himself as the Rockets moved to 2-2 on the season. Sam Klein (3-for-4), Tanner Scott (2-for-3), Jeff Ehlers (2-for-3, 4 RBI) and Bill Rodriguez (2-for-4, RBI) led the BC offense.

Stevenson 9, Cary-Grove 2: Kyle Burns suffered the loss for the Trojans (3-2-1) in this nonconference game.

Dundee-Crown 3, Glenbrook South 0: Bill Peterson tossed a 5-hitter with 5 strikeouts and no walks as D-C (1-2-1) notched its first win of the season. Jake Romano was 2-for-4 with an RBI and Zach Vodicka was 2-for-3 with a double for the Chargers.
