•Thieves stole the tailgate and attached license plate from a trailer in a store lot at 1400 S. Route 12 around 11:30 a.m. March 1. Value was estimated at $168.
Grayslake
•Jorge L. Flores-Villanue, 22, Herminio Vivas, 22, and Refugio Vivas-Martinez, 26, all of the 700 block of North Dennis, Wheeling, and Gaston Hernandez-Morales, 25, of the 200 block of Eighth Street, Wheeling, were arrested March 1 on the 700 block of East Route 120. Flores-Villanue was charged with possession of marijuana, driving under the influence of alcohol, and traffic violations, and his court date is March 24. Vivas, Vivas-Martinez, and Hernandez-Morales were charged with illegal transportation of open alcohol, and their court date is March 18.
Gurnee
•Teresa Ramirez, 18, of the 800 block of May Street, Waukegan, was arrested around 4 p.m. March 4 at Shoe Carnival in Gurnee Mills, 6170 Route 132, and charged with theft after employee Ramirez undercharged customers. Total value was estimated at $336.
Lake Zurich
•Robert W. Dietsche Jr., 34, of the 700 block of Berkshire Lane, Mount Prospect, was arrested around 12:20 a.m. March 8 on Route 12 at Wooded Ridge and charged with traffic violations and two counts of felony obstruction of justice.
•Thieves stole magnetic signs from two vehicles on the 100 block of East Main Street and 100 block of North Old Rand Road around 11 a.m. March 7. Total value was estimated at $45.
Libertyville
•Clinton Gwynne, 17, of the 900 block of North Milwaukee Avenue, Libertyville, was arrested around 1:15 p.m. March 5 in the area of the bike path at the end of West Cook and West streets and charged with criminal defacement of property after he wrote on village property. His court date is March 26.
Round Lake Beach
•Joshua E. Galvez, 27, of the 4500 block of Touhy Drive, Lincolnwood, was arrested around 10:05 a.m. Feb. 27 after a traffic stop at Hainesville Road and Heather Terrace and charged with possession of marijuana.
•Burglars stole two handguns out of a home on the 400 block of West Hawthorne Drive around 10 p.m. Feb. 28.
Vernon Hills
•Sunil Manduti, 30, of the 1400 block of Downing Place, Mundelein, was arrested March 5 at Macy's in Westfield Hawthorn Mall and charged with retail theft after he took clothes valued at $108. His court date is April 13.
Wauconda
•David D. Seidel, 42, of the 2700 block of Salt Creek Court, Wauconda, was arrested around 8:45 a.m. March 3 at the police department, 311 S. Main St., and charged with violating the sex offender registration act. His court date is March 25.
•Thieves stole an air conditioning unit from the side of the building at Lake-Cook Trenching, 1510 N. Old Rand Road, overnight March 4-5.
