Maine Township High School District 207's school board this week is conducting its first round of interviews with candidates to replace Superintendent Joel Morris. Forty-two candidates applied, a majority of whom have experience as either a superintendent or assistant superintendent. The school board will pare down that list, interview finalists and select the superintendent by early April. The new superintendent will start on July 1.
