Crystal Lake South 55, Johnsburg 29: Army-bound senior Eric Wilde led the Gators to victory by posting a team-high 22 points to lift CL South (8-6) past visiting Johnsburg in Fox Valley Conference crossover action. Adam Olszewski collected 17 points, including three 3-point shots, while teammate Steve Rogers added 14 points for the Gators.
Northridge Prep 54, Elgin Academy 46: The Hilltoppers (3-8, 1-2) fell short to Northridge Prep in nonconference play. Paul Leonardis posted 16 points to lead Elgin Academy, supported by teammates Jivon McDonald (14 points) and Aaron Thomas (10 points).
Huntley 54, Woodstock 40: Jordan Neukirch (16 points) and Richard Gonzaga (10 points) led the Red Raiders (8-6) out of a scoring slump in FVC crossover action at Woodstock (3-11). Senior forward Brett DePorter (9 points) and sophomore guard Tyler Brunschon (8 points) contributed as Huntley won for the first time in 2009.
Richmond-Burton 52, Burlington Central 42: The Rockets (6-5, 1-1) fell short in their Big Northern-East road test at Richmond-Burton (7-7, 2-0). Junior forward Shane Larkin led Central with 16 points and junior guard Matt McCurdy scored 11 points for the Rockets.
Marmion 60, St. Edward 43: Senior guard Josh Dix led the Green Wave (6-9, 2-3) with 18 points but it wasn't enough to lift St. Edward past Marmion (6-9, 5-2) in a Suburban Catholic game in Aurora. Senior Riley Coleman added 13 points for the Green Wave.
Grayslake North at Jacobs postponed: This Fox Valley Conference crossover was rescheduled for today at approximately 7 p.m. in Algonquin.
