Deer Park

•Vandals smashed two village of Deer Park signs overnight Dec. 2-3 at the village hall, 23680 Cuba Road. Damage was estimated at $2,000.

Grayslake

•Gregory S. Dembski, 55, 35719 Benjamin Ave., Ingleside, was arrested Dec. 7 on the 300 block of East Route 120 and charged with battery. His court date is Dec. 31.

Gurnee

•Erendira Aguilar Carrillo, 24, 4833 22nd Ave., Kenosha, Wis., was arrested around 9:30 p.m. Dec. 8 at Kohl's, 6120 Route 132, and charged with retail theft. A court date was not available.

•Ryan R. Szudor, 29, 1845 Salem Court, Gurnee, was arrested around 9:30 p.m. Dec. 8 at Burlington Coat Factory, 6104 Route 132, after employee Szudor took $239 on Dec. 8 and more than $2,000 total over an undisclosed period of time. A court date was not available.

Lake Zurich

•Aaric R. Dexter, 25, 12 Jonathon Road, Lake Zurich, was arrested around 3:10 p.m. Dec. 3 at his home and charged with burglary and unlawful use of a credit card after detectives investigated a burglary to a business Oct. 5 on the 200 block of North Rand Road. A court date was not available.

Libertyville

•Alexander J. Klimusko, 18, 520 Lange Court, Libertyville, was arrested around 11:30 p.m. Dec. 7 on the 300 block of Merrill Court and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and domestic battery. His court date is Dec. 22.

Round Lake Beach

•Burglars broke a window on an overhead door at Car-X, 192 W. Rollins Road, overnight Nov. 30-Dec. 1, and stole $145.

Vernon Hills

Celina A. Cruz, 37, 313 Pleasure Drive, Mundelein, and Claudia C. Martinez, 31, 600 McKinley Ave., Apt. 303, Mundelein, were arrested Dec. 4 at JCPenney in Westfield Hawthorn mall and charged with retail theft after they left with clothes valued at $682. Cruz also was charged with obstruction of justice after she gave an officer a false date of birth. Their court date is Jan. 5.

•Irfan A. Merrani, 23, 538 Cherry Lane, Glenview, was arrested Dec. 5 at 340 N. Milwaukee Ave. and charged with two counts of forgery after he forged another person's name on loan documents. His court date is Jan. 7.

Wauconda

•Michael R. Schlaffer, 19, 665 Laurel Ave., Wauconda, was arrested around 11:55 p.m. Dec. 6 on the 1200 block of Larkdale Row and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. His court date is Dec. 29.

•Burglars stole jewelry and medications around 3 p.m. Dec. 6 at a home on the 0-100 block of Boren Avenue. A value estimate was not available.

•Santiago Lopez, 17, 811 Peter St., McHenry; Dustin K. Moran, 17, 341 Indian Ridge Trail, Wauconda; Blake J. Muskat, 18, 422 Farmhill Circle, Wauconda; and a 14-year-old girl were arrested around 12:01 a.m. Dec. 7 at Route 176 and Williams Park Road. Lopez was charged with possession of alcohol by a minor and theft; Moran was charged with possession and consumption of alcohol by a minor and theft; Muskat was charged with theft; and the teenage girl was charged with curfew violation and consumption of alcohol by a minor. Their court date is Jan. 14.
