Grant edges Elgin

Grant's girls basketball team pulled out a 51-48 nonconference win over visiting Elgin on Wednesday night.

Amber Potts and C.J. Hill each had 11 points, and Morgan Liles scored 10 for the Bulldogs in the game.

Grant (5-4) also received 9 points from Brittani Schisler.

Cary-Grove 75, Grayslake Central 59: Alex Scarbro scored 15 points and Alison Metzger added 13 for the Rams in their nonconference loss.

CL South 56, Grayslake North 36: Lauren Erickson had 15 points and 10 rebounds for the Knights.

Grayslake North (3-6) got 12 points from Kelsi Leith,
