•Burglars broke into a vehicle around 8:40 p.m. Nov. 21 in a restaurant lot at 20560 Rand Road and stole undisclosed items. A loss estimate was not available.

•Thieves stole an MP3 player around 8:50 a.m. Nov. 25 out of a gym locker at Grant High School, 285 E. Grand Ave. Value was estimated at $299.

•Thomas J. Willis Jr., 38, 9337 S. Vanderpoel, Chicago, was arrested Nov. 22 on the 600 block of Swan Drive and charged with disorderly conduct. His court date is Dec. 31.

Lake Zurich

•Solomon D. Trimble Schoeppner, 27, 763 E. Pennsylvania Ave., Palatine, was arrested around 2 a.m. Nov. 29 on Route 12 at Deerpath Road and charged with illegal transportation of open alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol and traffic violations. His court date is Jan. 5.

•Thieves stole an American flag valued at $40 Nov. 29 from a home on the 500 block of Timberwood Drive.

•Vandals broke holiday decorations overnight Nov. 29-30 at a home on the 1300 block of Coral Reef Way. Damage was estimated at $75.

Libertyville

•Elias C. Mendoza, 26, 2019 Redwood Drive, Round Lake Beach; Angie M. Alaniz, 30, 3623 Dixie Ave., Park City; and Horacio Alaniz, 33, 324 Highmoor Drive, Round Lake Park, were arrested Nov. 27 at Grill 21, 1590 S. Milwaukee Ave., and charged with battery after they fought in the restaurant's parking lot. Angie Alaniz also was charged with resisting a police officer. A court date was not available.

Vernon Hills

•Gene E. Lazarde, 18, 201 Winfield Court, Vernon Hills, was arrested Nov. 22 at Butterfield Road and Creekside Drive and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and traffic violations. His court date is Dec. 17.

•Robert C. Parker, 56, 385 Westmoreland Drive, Apt. 14, Vernon Hills, was arrested Nov. 26 on the 800 block of Westmoreland Drive and charged with violation order of protection, driving under the influence and illegal transportation of open alcohol. A court date was not available.

Wauconda

•Nicholas M. Osborne, 20, 594 Nantucket Way, Island Lake, and Christy A. Sara, 19, 515 Lakeshore Boulevard, Wauconda, were arrested around 12:10 a.m. Nov. 25 on the 500 block of West Liberty Street and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Sara also was charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor. Their court date is Dec. 31.

•Someone burglarized a vehicle around 4 p.m. Nov. 25 on the 900 block of East Liberty Street. A value estimate was not available.

•Shawn M. Guerino, 19, 1212 Fox Trail Court, Naperville, and a 15-year-old Wauconda boy were arrested around 11:40 p.m. Nov. 26 on the 300 block of Old Country Way and charged with possession of tobacco by a minor. Guerino also was charged with possession of alcohol by a minor and possession of drug paraphernalia. Their court date is Dec. 31.

•James W. Herron, 41, 410 S. Barrington Road, Wauconda, was arrested around 7:55 p.m. Nov. 26 on the 100 block of South Main Street and charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, and disorderly conduct. His court date is Dec. 17.
