Raue Center plans benefit ball

Raue Center for the Arts will hold the fourth annual "Stargazers Ball" to benefit the performing and cultural arts center in downtown Crystal Lake. The evening begins at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26 in the ballroom at the Boulder Ridge Country Club, 350 Boulder Drive, Lake in the Hills. Celebrating its eighth season of programming, Raue Center for the Arts' fourth annual Stargazers Ball will benefit the cultural arts center's arts education and community outreach programs and future artistic and programming initiatives.

More than 200 guests from the McHenry County area enjoy a celebrated evening filled with a live and silent auction, an exquisite four-course dinner prepared by the executive chef of Boulder Ridge Country Club, ballroom dancing and the rich sounds of the Anthony Kawalkowski Orchestra.

Raue Center for the Arts is established as a nonprofit organization that has welcomed the best performing artists from around the world to perform onto stage for the residents of McHenry County. Since opening its doors in 2001, Raue Center for the Arts become a key anchor for downtown Crystal Lake, the cornerstone of arts education in the McHenry County area, an economic engine for the tourism industry and a leader among its peer organizations.
