NIU display features ECC and MCC student artwork

Artist Mary Telfer Holden and her students from McHenry County College, College of Lake County and Elgin Community College will be showing their newest watercolor, oil and pastel artwork through Sept. 26 at Gallery 214 of the Northern Illinois University School of Art.

There will be a reception from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18 to meet the artists. Light refreshments will be served.

Holden is an nationally recognized artist and a popular instructor.
