Beginning Sept. 14, Sunday school begins at 9:05 a.m. at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Barrington Hills. Following classroom time, all children join their parents for the 10:15 a.m. service so families can take Communion and worship together. On Saturday, Sept. 20, a Selichot service will feature a special screening of the film "Praying With Lior," a tender documentary focusing on the profoundly special relationship Lior Liebling, a boy with Down syndrome, has with prayer and God. Our Saviour's United Methodist Church in Schaumburg will continue its 50th anniversary celebration Sunday, Sept. 21, with the return of founding pastor, the Rev. Howard Benson.
