•Burglars stole a case with 100 CDs between 9 and 11 p.m. Aug. 21 out of an unlocked 2005 Dodge van parked in a driveway at a home on the 38500 block of Hilltop, the Lake County sheriff's office said. Value was estimated at $1,000.

Fox Lake

•Vandals cracked the front windshield early morning Aug. 24 on a 2000 Chevrolet Venture parked on the 0-100 block of Mineola Road, police said. A damage estimate was not available.

Grayslake

•Jose R. Morales, 40, 33411 Route 45, Grayslake, was arrested around 9:30 p.m. Aug. 23 at his home and charged with criminal damage to vehicle after he hurled a beer bottle that dented the front passenger's-side quarter panel on a 1997 Ford sedan during an argument with the female driver's male friend, police said. A court date was not available.

Gurnee

•A 14-year-old boy was arrested around 2 p.m. Aug. 25 after an officer discovered he had stolen four cell phones at Warren Township High School, 500 N. O'Plaine Road, police said. He was referred to a juvenile court, reports added.

•Vandals jumped on and dented the roof of a vehicle around 3 p.m. Aug. 25 at Six Flags Great America, 1 Six Flags Parkway, police said. A damage estimate was not available.

•Vandals hurled rocks that smashed windows and side mirrors on three trucks between Aug. 22 and 24 that were parked at Landmark Storage, 26351 Route 59, the Lake County sheriff's office said. Total damage was estimated at $800.

•Burglars stole several items Aug. 23 out of an unlocked vehicle on the 300 block of Thistle Lane, and the in-dash radio out of an unlocked car on the 200 block of Thistle Lane, police said. Total value was estimated at $760.

Libertyville

•Vandals destroyed a mailbox overnight Aug. 23-24 at a home on the 700 block of Oakspring Lane, the Lake County sheriff's office said. Damage was estimated at $20.

Round Lake Beach

•Vandals wrote graffiti Aug. 19 in a men's washroom at the Metra depot on Hook Drive near Route 83, police said. A damage estimate was not available.

•Burglars smashed a window on two vehicles between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Aug. 20 in the Metra lot on Hook Drive near Route 83, and stole a GPS unit out of each vehicle, police said. Value estimates were not available.

Vernon Hills

•Jose I. Montesinos-Olivares, 24, 93 George Road, Wheeling, was arrested Aug. 22 and charged with disorderly conduct after he harassed a fellow patron at Buffalo Wild Wings, 361 W. Townline Road, police said. His Mundelein court date was set for Oct. 16.

Wauconda

•Vandals spray-painted gang graffiti Aug. 21 on a stop sign at the intersection of Slocum Lake Road and Osage Street, police said. A damage estimate was not available.
