St. John's to present dinner, show

"The Patchwork Quilt" dinner and show will be will be presented at 7 p.m. today and Saturday at St. John's Lutheran Church, 300 Jefferson St., downtown Algonquin. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

"The Patchwork Quilt" is an original musical compilation "quilted together" by Tim Groskopf. It is a portrayal of the evolution of music through the decades and promises to be an unforgettable experience for the whole family. The production is offered as a dinner theater featuring homemade spaghetti, salad and dessert.

Prices are $12 in advance for adults, or $15 at the door; children, birth to 12, $5; table for 10 is $100. All proceeds are dedicated to a St. John's Scholarship Fund.
