Run for the Arts July 4

The 13th annual July 4th "Run for the Arts" sponsored by the Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital Health and Fitness Center includes a 5K and 10K run. The start time for the 5K and 10K races and the 5K walk is 7:30 p.m. The start time for the 2K walk is 7:45 a.m.

The annual "Run for the Arts" is a sanctioned and certified 5K and 10K run through the scenic streets of Barrington and neighboring hillsides.

Entry fee is $25 through June 26; $28 thereafter. For those who prefer a more leisurely pace, a 5K and 2K walk is offered. The fee for the walk is $15. The walk is especially popular with families. Prizes and awards will be presented.
