• The Oak Brook Public Library will play host to the Midwest POW exhibit, "Behind Barbed Wire: Midwest POWs in Nazi Germany" from 5 to 8 p.m. June 9 at the library, 600 Oak Brook Road. The exhibit includes display panels of photographs, documents, audio and video documentaries, artifacts and more. The exhibit is provided by TRACES, a not-for-profit educational organization created to gather, preserve and present stories of people from the Midwest and Germany or Austria who encountered each other during World War II.
