Streamwood Memorial Day weekend observances: The Village of Streamwood and the Veterans Memorial Commission will host the following Memorial Day Weekend Observances at the Streamwood Veterans Memorial, 301 E. Irving Park Road, next to the village hall, Friday: 8 p.m. POW/MIA candlelight vigil; Saturday: 24-hour vigil guard; Sunday: 11 a.m. relieving of vigil guard and Memorial Day Ceremony including an 11 a.m. Lima Lima fly-over.
