Norwood opens kiosk at Woodfield
Norwood Builders brings information about its communities to Woodfield Mall.
Clothes, jewelry, toys and DVDs aren't the only goods attracting consumers to the malls these days. Now, mall-goers can shop for a new home, too -- courtesy of Norwood Builders, which recently opened an informational kiosk within Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg.
Fueled by a strategy to "go where the shoppers go," Park Ridge-based Norwood Builders decided to try a new approach in new home sales by offering a convenient, informational kiosk within one of the area's largest malls.
"Establishing a highly visible presence within a popular retail destination like Woodfield Mall is a great opportunity and a creative strategy. Here, everyday shoppers who may not otherwise be thinking about buying a new home or who are not familiar with our company can learn more and explore all the possibilities we have to offer," said Bruce Adreani, president of Norwood Builders. "Our kiosk provides a convenient, helpful means to educate shoppers about the benefits of purchasing a new, low-maintenance condominium, townhouse or row house."
Located within the mall's lower level on the JC Penny wing just outside The Gap clothing store, the kiosk is staffed by a Norwood Builders sales professional from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily through May 15. Visitors can get answers to questions about the builder's current new home communities, watch a short video tour of available models, and collect brochures and sales literature. Plus, for a limited time, kiosk visitors will receive a special coupon that can be redeemed at any Norwood Builders community sales center for a valuable discount off the purchase price of a new home or good toward options and upgrades of their choice.
Additionally, the kiosk will be staffed by a representative from Countrywide Bank on Wednesdays from 10 am. to 6 p.m., and on various weekends. This Countrywide professional will offer free advice on home loan financing, pre-qualify applicants on-site for a new mortgage, provide quotes on the latest interest rates, and give out coupons for $500 off closing costs on a new home purchase or refinance.
What's more, the kiosk will host a representative from a local real estate brokerage office from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesdays. This professional will be on hand to offer special home-to-sell programs that make it easier for new home seekers to sell their existing homes.
"Think of this kiosk as a one-stop clearinghouse of reliable information and valuable, free resources that can help you become a new home owner," Adreani said. "We've got all the bases covered -- from offering guidance on what to look for in a new home and choosing the right mortgage to strategies on selling your resale home faster and saving big money on the purchase price and closing costs."
Norwood Builders' kiosk will offer detailed information on all of the builder's current attached home communities, which include:
