Century 21 to host Easter Bunny

The Easter Bunny will be making an appearance from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at all Century 21 Roberts and Andrews office locations in Barrington, Crystal Lake, Fox Lake, McHenry, Lindenhurst and Wauconda.

Century 21 Roberts and Andrews will provide each family with a professional photograph, and each child will also be given a special present.

Annual craft fair comes to Palatine

Palatine High School, 1111 N. Rohlwing Road, will host its annual VIP Craft Fair from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

More than 100 crafters will be featured. Admission is free.

Midtown to host charity tennis event

Midtown Athletic Club, 1760 N. Hicks Road, Palatine, presents its annual Arthur Ashe charity tennis event from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday.

Proceeds benefit the Arthur Ashe Foundation for the Defeat of AIDS. The event will consist of two 90-minute tennis clinics for adults and juniors, led by Midtown instructors. A silent auction will also be featured.

Musical showcase coming to Fremd

Fremd High School, 1000 S. Quentin Road, Palatine, will host its spring music showcase concert at 7 p.m. March 19 in the school cafeteria.

Featured will be classical and popular music performed by the Treble Choir, Concert Orchestra, Philharmonic Orchestra and A Cappella groups.

Photos on display at The Garlands

"Lives with Passion," a collection of interpretive portraits by Barrington photographer Thomas Balsamo, is on display through March 31 at The Garlands of Barrington, 1000 Garlands Lane.

The exhibit -- created in 2005 in collaboration with the Barrington Area Council on Aging and the Barrington Area Arts Council -- is a collection of black-and-white portraits of older adults whose lives have been influenced by a personal passion to create or to give back to others.
