Weight Watchers: Weight Watchers has opened a new meeting location in Fox Lake. The meeting is held at 6 p.m. every Thursday at Lakefront Park, 71 Nippersink Blvd. Meetings last approximately 35 minutes. For more information, call (800) 651-6000.

Czech Slovak American Genealogy Society: Czech Slovak American Genealogy Society will meet at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church of LaGrange, 150 S. Ashland Ave., LaGrange. Craig L. Pfannkuche will present "Analyzing 19th Century Photographs for Family History Data." Additional 2008 meetings will be held March 29, May 17, Aug. 16 and Oct. 18. American Association of University Women: Columnist Mary Schmich will be the featured speaker at the 25th annual networking luncheon of the American Association of University Women being held 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Deerfield Hyatt, 1750 Lake Cook Road, Deerfield. $35. Norge Ski Club: Norge Ski Club will hold its 103rd annual Winter Ski Jump Tournament event Saturday and Sunday at 100 Ski Hill Road in Fox River Grove. Gate entrance fee is $15 for both days; free for children 12 and under when accompanied by an adult. Junior Tournament begins at 2 p.m. Saturday, gates open at 1 p.m. All class competition at 6 p.m. Saturday. Olympic hopefuls compete in the Super Tour Event at noon Sunday; gates open at 11 a.m.

Jewish Genealogical Society: Jewish Genealogical Society of Illinois presents "How to Plan the Perfect Family Reunion" by Sally Mann at 2 p.m. Sunday at Temple Beth Israel, 3601 W. NSDAR Signal Hill Chapter: National Society Daughters of the American Revolution Signal Hill Chapter will announce the winners of its annual American History Essay and Good Citizen Award during its Feb. 3 meeting being held 1:30 p.m. at the Barrington Public Library, 505 N. Gurnee Woman's Club: All ladies are invited to attend the Gurnee Woman's Club meeting being held 7 p.m. Feb. 4 in the Gurnee Community Church Fellowship Hall, 4555 Old Grand Ave., Gurnee. The program "Neighborhood Watch" will be presented by the Gurnee Police Department. Refreshments will be served.

Beth Judea's Men's Club: Congregation Beth Judea's Men's Club will hold "Hebrew Literacy Class 2" beginning Feb. 4. The 12-week course will be held from 8 to 9 p.m. on Monday nights and will teach how to improve your reading skills. The class is open to any adult who has taken the basic Hebrew Literacy class. American Association of University Women: Waukegan Area Branch of American Association of University Women will sponsor the following events:

Reseda Garden Club: The February meeting of the Reseda Garden Club will be held 7:30 p.m. Feb. 6. Wauconda Township Seniors: The Wauconda Township Seniors Club will meet 1 p.m. Feb. 7 at the Wauconda Township Hall, 505 Bonner Road. A continental breakfast begins at 9:30 a.m. followed by the business meeting at 10 a.m. The program, by Carolyn Urlich, editor of Chicagoland Gardening Magazine, begins at 10:30 a.m.

Miscellaneous

Sundowners Golf League: The Sundowners Golf League is accepting new members. The club is for singles, solo golfers or couples and meets at the Lake Barrington Shores Golf Club, 40 Shoreline Road in Lake Barrington.

Sundowners will meet every other Friday starting April 18, with 3 p.m. tee times until 5 p.m. After nine holes of golf, members gather for dinner and socialization.
