Lizzadro Museum to teach dino facts
"Dinosaur Discoveries" will be offered at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Lizzadro Museum of Lapidary Art, 220 Cottage Hill Ave., Elmhurst.
Children ages 4 and older will learn about dinosaurs using fossils and props. Reservations are recommended.
The cost is $4. The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays and 1 to 5 p.m. Sundays. Admission costs $4; $3 for senior citizens; $2 for students and teens; $1 for children ages 7 to 12; and free for ages 6 and younger. Everyone is admitted free Fridays.

Hear Gospel music at NCC concert
The North Central College Visions of Praise choir's 20th annual Gospel Extravaganza will be at 7 p.m. Saturday in Pfeiffer Hall, 310 E. Benton Ave., Naperville.
Guest artists will include actress and singer Tamela Mann, as well as Bryant Jones and Chosen.
The concert is part of the college's week-long celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King's birthday.

York to offer kids an all-day camp
An all-day camp for children ages 4 to 12 will be offered from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday at the York Center Park District, 1609 S. Luther Ave., Lombard.
Extended care will be available from 7:30 to 9 a.m. and 3 to 6 p.m. Campers must bring a lunch in a disposable bag with their name on it.

The DuPage Homeownership Center will offer free classes for first-time home buyers from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 9 at the Mainstreet Organization of Realtors, 6655 S. Main, Downers Grove; 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 1 at the DuPage County Government Complex administration building, 421 N. County Farm Road, Wheaton; 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 29 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 820 Division St., Lisle; 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 12 at Outreach Community Center, 345 S. President St., Carol Stream; and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 26 at the Addison village hall, 1 Friendship Plaza.
The class also will be offered in Spanish from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 16 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 515 S. Wheaton Ave., Wheaton.
Experts will discuss types of mortgages and how to qualify for a loan. They also will offer tips about how to find the right home, how to negotiate sales contracts and how to hire professionals such as attorneys and home inspectors.
