Samuel Adams Adult Hot Chocolate
2 bottles (12 ounces each) Samuel Adams Cream Stout 6 tablespoons firmly packed brown sugar Lemon wedge to rim glasses Granulated sugar to rim glasses 4 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped½ teaspoon chile powder White chocolate shavings, optional garnishWarm four martini glasses by filling them with hot water and letting them sit while you make the hot chocolate.To make the hot chocolate: In a saucepan over medium-low heat, combine the beer and brown sugar and bring to a gentle boil; cooking for about 3 minutes.While the chocolate is cooking pour the water out of the martini glasses and run the lemon wedges around the rims of the glasses and dip the rims into a saucer of sugar until the desired amount has collected on the glass.Reduce the heat under the saucepan to low and whisk in the chocolate and chile powder.
