German Cabbage Stir-Fry

German Cabbage Stir-Fry
½ head cabbage, shredded
1 large onion, sliced
1 pound ground beef, chuck or sirloin
2 cups cooked white rice
1 can diced tomatoes
1 teaspoon caraway
1 teaspoon garlic pow-der
1 teaspoon black pepper
Saute ground beef until almost cooked. Add onion and cabbage. Stir to mix, and cook about 5 minutes. Add rice and tomato; mix well. Add seasonings, stir and cook about five more min-utes.
Serves four to six.
