Daily Herald report

Brutal. Treacherous. Dangerous. Inclement. Bleak.

There are all kinds of words to describe the subzero weather we've experienced over the past few weeks. Our staff of photojournalists went out when the temperatures were 10 degrees below zero, or lower, with the mission of finding the beauty in this arctic blast. Beauty, it is said, is in the eye of the beholder. It's out there, just past your ice covered windows. Bundle up and take a look.
