Chicago Magazine has named Advocate Children's Hospital physicians among Chicago's Top Cancer Doctors. The list, featured in the magazine's January 2017 edition, recognizes exceptional physicians across the Chicago area who are nominated by their peers.

Hooberman (hematology/oncology), Dr. Pamela E. Kaiser (hematology/oncology), Dr. Leonard M. Klein (hematology/oncology), Dr. Timothy Lestingi (hematology/oncology), Dr. Heidi C. Memmel (general surgery), Dr. Kenneth I. O'Riordan (gastroenterology), Dr. Rajiv J. Patel (oncology-radiation), Dr. M. Scott Peckler (general surgery), Dr. Jon Richards (hematology/oncology), and Dr. Santosh V. Yajnik (oncology-radiation), achieved this recognition.

Chicago Magazine partners with Castle Connolly Medical Ltd., a New York City-based health care research company, to oversee the nominating survey, research, screening and selection process to compile the list of outstanding physicians in Chicago's six-county area.
