Believe Project: $100 to Nana for being a great caregiver

Today's winner of a $100 bill through the Believe Project is Haley Pappas of Round Lake.

Here is an excerpt of her pitch: "To my Nana. ... She's basically been my caregiver my whole life, when my mom had no idea how to be a mother. She never thinks of anyone but her family. She's now taking care of her other three grandkids all by herself. My Nana is the best thing in my life and I want to show her how much I appreciate her and what she does. She's always been the giver, but I want to change that."

• The Believe Project is awarding $100 each day in December to a person with a good idea for how to use $100 to do a good deed for someone else.
