St. Peter Lutheran School Celebrates Its 150th Birthday!
St. Peter Lutheran School in Arlington Heights, IL is celebrating its 150th birthday with events throughout this school year. Over the weekend of October 18, the school was celebrated at all the church's worship services. Over 1300 people attended weekend worship and heard students from the school's preschool-eighth grade sing and say prayers. The church entry and fellowship area were decorated with themed cardboard birthday cakes which were made by each classroom. To add to the festivities, each service ended with cupcakes! The school will be hosting a 150th Gala Dinner in February to continue the celebration!
