We're lovin' it! Bensenville Celebrates McDonald's Grand Opening

Doors opened for the first time at 11am Friday September 12, 2014 at a new McDonald's located at 302 West Irving Park Road in Bensenville.

Besides the thrill of opening the doors for the first time, McDonald's owner/operator Dennis Cha is also excited to become a member of the Bensenville community, "We want to be more than a restaurant. We want to be a good neighbor." stated Mr. Cha

"It is a pleasure to welcome a new member to our Irving Park Road Business District and extra special when companies with a reputation like McDonald's choose to join us." Stated Village President Frank Soto "The sense of community McDonald's has can be felt instantly with all of the wonderful charitable events planned in their first month alone."

Hundreds of guests visited the restaurant for food specials and came in to register to win prizes such as a TV, game console, shuffle style MP3 player, movie tickets and gift cards. Guests were also able to register to be one of 200 lucky winners to win a free Big Mac a week for an entire year. Visit their Facebook (McDonald's Bensenville) to see weekly winners.

McDonald's has events and great specials through the rest of the month of September. Many of which include events designed to give back to the community such as McTeacher's nights, where teachers get behind the counters and serve food, participating Bensenville schools. Another event will provide a portion of sales to the Village of Bensenville's Golden Wishes program, a program designed to help fulfill lifelong wishes for senior citizens in Bensenville.
