Oak Brook Park District ABC Preschool announces 5-day and full day curriculum options,

Enrollment is open and preschoolers as well as parents in Oak Brook and the surrounding communities may now take advantage of 5-day and full day curriculum options at Oak Brook Park District's award-winning ABC Preschool. “The consistency and routine of 5-day programs aid in knowledge retention, allow for more social interaction, and help to better prepare children for kindergarten,” says Melissa Donofrio, ABC Preschool Coordinator.

ABC Preschool students enrolled in the 3 and 4 Year Old program have 2-day, 3-day, and 5-day curriculum options available from 9am-11:30am.

Students enrolled in the 4 and 5 Year Old program may take advantage of 2-day, 3-day, and 5-day morning or full day curricula. Full day curricula run from 9am-3pm. The flexible enrollment options allow parents to choose the education schedule that is best for their families.

The ABC Preschool curriculum was developed in conjunction with the Oak Brook Park District, Butler School District 53, and the LaGrange Area Department of Special Education (LADSE). The cooperative effort allows the park district to offer an inclusive early childhood education program that provides speech, occupational, and physical therapy at no additional fee. “We feel it is invaluable to have all students learn and grow together and we are proud to provide the services necessary to meet each student's individual needs,” says Spandikow.

Resident and nonresident enrollment is accepted. Resident/nonresident enrollment fees are $3315/$4144 per year for morning 5-day programs. Resident/nonresident enrollment fees for 5-day, full day programs are $7140/$8925. Pricing varies for 2-day and 3-day curricula.

Enrichment programs and preschool prep programs are also available.
