Right now in DuPage County almost 40,000 of our neighbors are unemployed. Did you know that one-third of open manufacturing jobs in DuPage go unfilled because available unemployed/underemployed persons don't have the appropriate training and skills? Our community has an outdate perception of manufacturing as a career option. Come and learn how DuPage United is working to strengthen the connections between those seeking work, local training programs, and employers in manufacturing. The economic health of DuPage depends on changing the perception of manufacturing sector and the jobs it offers.
