GREEN OAKS, Illinois (March 6, 2013) -- Oak Grove's Cub Scout Pack 194 (Pack 194) is thrilled to be celebrating its 50th year of continuous scouting. The celebration kicked off March 6 at Pack 194's annual Blue and Gold banquet, bringing together 206 attendees composed of scouts and their families. Held at Oak Grove School (District 68), the event also celebrated the crossover of Pack 194's Webelos II Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts.

Pack 194 has more than 80 Cub Scouts and is chartered through the Oak Grove School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). "The 2012 -- 2013 scouting year marks our 50-year relationship with our charter organization, Oak Grove School PTO," said Ken LaCrosse, Pack 194 cubmaster. "We appreciate the commitment that the school and administration have made and continue to make to our scouting program."
