LA-CO Industries, Inc. announces the acquisition of TempilŪ, a division of Illinois Tool Works Inc. (ITW). A company dedicated to innovation, Tempil is at the forefront of accurate temperature indication technologies for Welding, Supply Chain and Process Integrity, and Healthcare Sterilization markets.
Since 1938, Tempil has delivered customer-driven solutions for effective temperature measurement. With the addition of advanced new technologies and capabilities from Tempil, LA-CO Industries and its global brand of MarkalŪ industrial marking and temperature indication products are well-positioned for growth within the industrial and welding channels. In addition, the acquisition extends LA-CO Industries' offerings to new customers within the Healthcare Sterilization and Process Integrity industries.

Tempil's product line includes temperature indicating sticks, electronic surface thermometers, infrared thermometers, medical sterilization inks, weldable primers, heat-absorbing coatings and compounds, and temperature indicating labels, strips, inks and liquids. Tempil business operations will continue to operate independently of LA-CO Industries' global business operations. Bulkley Capital, LP advised LA-CO Industries on the acquisition.
