In late September on the plane home from Disney World in Orlando, my son Mike was able to capture this image out the window. The location is the final approach to O’Hare Airport from the east, over the Kennedy Expressway. Not only was the fall foliage glowing, but he was lucky enough to have the sun at just the proper afternoon angle to capture the shadow of the plane over the woods. Mike Maystadt of Roselle
