Walk Into Windsor Park and See What's New

The residents and staff of Windsor Park, A Covenant Retirement Community in Carol Stream, invite you to share their excitement about renovations of the public Centrum as well as resident apartments. A series of six open tours is planned for November and December.

The tours at Windsor Park, 124 Windsor Park Drive, Carol Stream, run from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Nov. 3, 10, 17, 24 and Dec. 1, 8; all are Saturdays. Windsor Park residents will lead the tours and marketing staff will be on hand to answer questions about moving into Windsor Park.

According to Marissa Samaan, Marketing Director for Windsor Park, the Centrum space was recently refurbished with new safety-compliant upper level railing, painted, carpeted and completed with new furnishings.

Ingenuity by George Giambalvo, a resident of Windsor Park, ensures that the dozens of balusters from the previous railing won't see the landfill. He is utilizing Windsor Park's woodworking shop to build plant stands with them. Two sizes are available, and they are painted with weatherproof paint, enabling their use outside. The plant stands are available starting at $45 each in Windsor Park's Gift Shop. The Gift Shop will be open during the tours, so stop by to check them out.

Tours of one- and two-bedroom apartment homes will showcase how new residents can customize their new living quarters to suit their needs. In some cases, walls and closets can be removed to open up the space. Choices for new cabinetry, counter tops, lighting and appliances make each apartment as unique as their new owner.

Walk into Windsor and see what's new during November and December. Reservations for the tours are not necessary, but you can contact the marketing department of Windsor Park at (630) 510-4702 or email them at wpmarketing@covenantretirement.org if you have questions.
