Gail Borden Library Foundation Extravaganza Book Sale Sept. 20-23

Thousands of books as well as movies, music, audiobooks, games, puzzles and more will be on sale to fund exciting exhibits for the library and community. Browse through adult, teen and children's literature of every kind of genre including mysteries, historical fiction, fantasy, romance, westerns and graphic novels as well as cookbooks, sports, home improvement, gardening and coffee table books. Most books will be priced from $1 to $2. Some collectibles will be priced higher.

The sale will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21 and Saturday, Sept. 22; and 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 23.

A special pre-sale event, called Friends Night, will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20. Friends of the Gail Borden Public Library Foundation will have the opportunity to browse and purchase book sale merchandise at this special early bird shopping event.

Become a Friend of the Foundation to take advantage of the early bird book sale event. The cost is $25 for an individual membership, $50 for a family membership and $500 for a lifetime membership.

Pay by credit card online at www.gailborden.info or pay in person at the Main Library, 270 N. Grove Ave., or the Rakow Branch, 2751 W. Bowes Road. Also, you can become a Friend at the door of the pre-sale event on Thursday, Sept. 20.
