2012 Junior Olympics in Addison

Is your family interested in the 2012 Olympics held in London?

The Addison Park District is hosting their very first Junior Olympics this summer. The event will be held at Centennial Park on Saturday, June 23. Start time is at 10:30a.m. with all events scheduled to end by 12:00p.m.

If you have a child between the ages of 5 and 12 years old sign them up to today, for a day filled with competitive fun. In true Olympic fashion, your child will compete with kids their own age for medals in 1st, 2nd & 3rd place.

Your son or daughter as a young athlete can compete in an individual skills competition in one or as many events as they would like. The Junior Olympic events will include basketball, floor hockey, soccer, tennis and volleyball.

Every child dreams of one day competing in the Olympics and what better way to support that dream then by getting involved in this event and cheering them on all the way to gold.

Registration for this event is required no later than Monday, June 18. If you register by Friday, June 8 then you can get the early bird fee at $8R/$13NR per child. Anytime after Friday, June 8 the fee is $10R/$15NR per child. You can register by calling (630) 833-0100 or by going to www.addisonparks.org.

If you did not receive your copy, please call the Park District administrative office at (630) 833-0100 and provide your home address for delivery. Additionally, the brochure is available in each facility and online at www.addisonparks.org with a full curriculum of leisure activities for all ages and lifestyles.
