Kids, the Wauconda Park District wants you to tell them in 50 words or less why your mom is the greatest. There will be one winner from each of three divisions: Grades 1-2; Grades 3-4; Grades 5-6. Each winner will receive a copy of their essay and a special gift for mom. Entry forms will be available at the park district, 600 N. Main St., starting on Monday, April 16. Return forms by Monday, May 7. Winners will be notified by phone. This is a free event. Visit waucondaparks.com or call (847) 526-3610.
