Elk Grove Township Elementary District 59 has named a new principal for Ridge Family Center for Learning. Michele Ramsey will replace Principal Barbara Zabroske, who will retire at the end of the school year. Ramsey has been an educator for more than 10 years, as an early childhood and elementary schoolteacher, and then a principal in both LaGrange and Addison. She has a bachelor's degree from Loyola University, a teaching certificate from North Park University in 2000 and master's degrees in Education and in Educational Administration from Dominican University. She is currently pursuing a doctoral degree at Aurora University.
