'Grease' opens at Willowbrook

The Willowbrook Theatre Department opens its 2010-11 theater season with "Grease: School Version" at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Nov. 19-20, in the Doris White Auditorium, 1250 S. Ardmore Ave., Villa Park.

Tickets are $7 for adults, $6 for students and children older than 12, $4 for students with an activity pass and children ages 5-12, and free for senior citizens with a Gold Card and children younger than 5. Family passes are not accepted.

Willowbrook English teacher Regina Wathier will direct the cast in this shorter version of the play that has more suitable content for teens and adolescents. The production also features cameo appearances by faculty members.

Future productions include: "The Diary of Anne Frank" February 10-12 and "The Pink Panther Strikes Again!" April 14-16.
