October is Financial Planning Month and Schaumburg Township District Library is ready to help you learn more about your finances with three, free, online programs.
Join "Investing Made Simple" with financial educator Karen Chan to learn about stocks, bonds, mutual funds and more through a practical example, all to help you to simplify your investment decisions. This program takes place online on Zoom at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 3.
At "Developing Retirement Income Strategies," past national president of the Financial Planning Association Ed Gjertsen II, CFP, will guide you through various strategies to successfully navigate the financial aspects of retirement. This program takes place online on Zoom at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 11.
Finally, nationally recognized personal finance expert Terry Savage will provide a reality check on the volatile economy, financial markets and personal finance topics, then answer your questions. "Terry Savage Talks Money" takes place online on Zoom at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 18.
