Fourth annual Water Street Long Table Dinner to benefit West Suburban Community Pantry

The award-winning chefs of Water Street in downtown Naperville are back to present the fourth annual Long Table Dinner on Water Street outdoors under the stars.

It will be 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 10.

The event will benefit West Suburban Community Pantry. Guests dressed in all-white attire will be treated to a six-course chef-prepared meal with a welcome sparkling wine as well as four additional wine pairings. Restaurants taking part are Ben & Jerry's, Blue Sushi Sake Grill, Elements Events, Quiubo, Santo Cielo, SixtyFour Wine Bar & Kitchen, and Vasili's Mediterranean.

As the sun goes down and lights begin to twinkle, guests will enjoy music by Pete Ellman Jazz while dining on one long table running along Water Street outside the Hotel Indigo.

"This is a unique party, with a romantic European vibe, for a great cause," says Nick Ryan of Marquette Companies, developer of Water Street. "Our chefs have taken great care to make this evening especially memorable. Helping feed area families who have struggled with rising food costs just makes the evening that much more special. We will eat well so they can eat well!"

Individual tickets and tables of eight are available. A limited number of sponsorship opportunities are also available.

"We are so grateful that the community is coming together to enjoy all the fabulous food on Water Street while helping to feed families in need," says Lisa Spaeth, West Suburban Community Pantry development director. "The chefs, retailers, Hotel Indigo and owners at Water Street have been so generous to the Pantry, and we love having the support of friends in Downtown Naperville."

The West Suburban Community Pantry serves individuals, families, children, and seniors throughout DuPage and Will counties including Woodridge, Lisle, Naperville, Westmont, Bolingbrook, Romeoville, and Willowbrook. The Pantry offers Pantry Store shopping hours in their Woodridge facility, as well as online ordering through their Virtual Food Pantry with pickup and delivery options.

The West Suburban Community Pantry provides healthy school snacks and weekend backpacks of food to students in several area schools and also has an in-school Pantry at Irene King Elementary School in Romeoville.
