Applications for Paint-a-thon Due to Schaumburg Township July 1

Apply for the 36th Annual Community Paint-a-thon by July 1 at the Township of Schaumburg! Paint-a-thon is a free program wherein volunteers paint homes.

To qualify, homes must be owned and occupied by any of the following who are unable to paint their homes themselves:

• Older Adults aged 60+

• People with Disabilities aged 18-59

• Veterans aged 18+

There are income and asset limits, but all are encouraged to apply. Interested applicants should contact Frances Borja at 847-285-4541 for more information or an application. Once a home is determined as eligible, volunteer teams are matched to scrape, prime and paint the outside of your home. All work occurs in September 2023. Current homeowners insurance is required.
