BOS Roselle cleans up nature trail for Earth Week
BOS, a 100% employee owned ESOP, full-service Best In Class Haworth Office Furniture Dealership, recently spent time cleaning up trash that had accumulated on a nature trail outside of their Roselle headquarters. The collaborative effort was spearheaded by Gretchen Kuzas, a senior vice president at the organization.
This nature trail, which surrounds a pond, is used by BOS Holdings staff, employees from local businesses and community members. The path promotes emotional and mental wellbeing through access to nature as well as physical wellness that results from taking short walks throughout the day. BOS has committed to continuing cleanup of trash on this nature path throughout the year.
BOS takes great pride and initiative in promoting and contributing to a green, sustainable, and economical business approach, both within and outside the organization. As an industry leader in sustainability, BOS provides a variety of programs that employees and clients take advantage of, including:
• BOS recycles 500 tons of metal annually (one metal scrap trailer weekly)
• BOS Holdings sells 80% of decommissioned furniture through Affordable Office Interiors business to small and midsized companies including chairs, private offices, workstations, storage and files
