Library to host candidate forums for local elections

In partnership with the League of Women Voters of the Palatine Area, Schaumburg Township District Library is set to host candidate forums for local races on Wednesday, March 15, and Saturday, March 18.

Attend nonpartisan forums featuring candidates in upcoming local races. Feel informed and educated about the coming election as you learn about candidates' individual positions on a variety of topics.

A Candidates Forum for the Township High School District 211 board will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, at Schaumburg Township District Library's Central Library. This forum will be moderated by Lisa Slankard of the League of Women Voters Arlington Heights, a neutral moderator trained by the League of Women Voters.

This forum will be recorded and made available on YouTube.com/@SchaumLib. This forum is additionally sponsored by the Schaumburg-Hoffman Estates Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated (SHAC).

A Candidates Forum for the Schaumburg Township District Library board of trustees will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, March 18, at Schaumburg Township District Library's Central Library. This forum will be moderated by Katherine Sawyer of the League of Women Voters Palatine, a neutral moderator trained by the League of Women Voters. It will be recorded and made available on YouTube.com/@SchaumLib.

A Candidates Forum for the Village of Hoffman Estates board of trustees will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 18, Schaumburg Township District Library's Central Library. It will be moderated by Katherine Sawyer and made available on YouTube.com/@SchaumLib.
