Prince Industries and Carol Stream Chamber Foundation open scholarship portal

The Carol Stream Chamber of Commerce Foundation board of directors and Prince Industries Inc. announce that the scholarship application portal opens Wednesday, Feb. 1. Go to www.carolstreamchamber.com/scholarship/.

The foundation in cooperation with Prince Industries offers $1,000 post-secondary scholarships to eligible Carol Stream residents.

The applicant must be a Carol Stream resident and fully complete the scholarship application form and see that the form is fully executed.

The applicant must plan future study in the field of manufacturing or engineering.

The applicant must plan to attend an institution of higher learning: a professional trade school, a two-year community college or a four-year college or university.

Applicants may not be a child of a member of the chamber foundation's board of directors.

Applications are due by 5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28.

Interviews with prospective candidates will take place on March 14-15 via Zoom (after school). You can anticipate about 5-10 minutes for your interview.

The Carol Stream Chamber of Commerce Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization; donations are tax deductible according to IRS tax code.
