Huntley church to hold Blue Christmas Service for loved ones

A Blue Christmas Service in remembrance of loved ones who have died will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 7, at Shepherd of the Prairie Lutheran Church in Huntley.

A simple service will include readings and carols in remembrance of loved ones. It will begin at 7 p.m. at the church, 10805 Main St.

Those who have lost someone and would like a special remembrance of them this Christmas are invited to attend.

Shepherd of the Prairie Lutheran Church has served the Huntley community for over 20 years under the faith leadership of Senior Pastor Mark Boster. Shepherd of the Prairie welcomed a second pastor, Pastor Ryan Mackey, to its staff in August 2022.
