Guest soloists join Fox Valley Orchestra for 'Broadway In Love' July 24

On Sunday, July 24, the Fox Valley Orchestra concert will feature Broadway solos and duets from different eras and composers.

Guest artists soprano Katelyn Lee and tenor Joe Shadday bring to the stage experience in both pops and operatic singing.

Lee and Shadday are members of the Lyric Opera Chorus and have performed as soloists with various Chicago-area orchestras.

Included in this exciting evening is a range of great overtures, medleys and dance numbers featuring the Fox Valley Orchestra. This will be a concert full of familiar, beautiful, and fun Broadway favorites.

The concert will be performed at 3 p.m. at the Batavia Fine Arts Centre, 1250 W. Wilson St.

Tickets are available online at www.bataviafineartscentre.org or can be purchased at the door depending on availability.

Ticket prices range from $16 for children under 8 years old, $20 for students and seniors, and $24 for adult seating. Tickets at the door are $4 extra. Online fee is $3 or $5 for box office or phone.

The Summer Pops Series will wrap up on Sunday, Aug. 7, with "Rhapsody in Pops" at 3 p.m. at the Batavia Fine Arts Centre.
