The Gardner School of Schaumburg earns quality accreditation from NAEYC

The Gardner School of Schaumburg, a preschool for children ages six weeks through five years old, announced that it has earned the nation's top quality accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children, the oldest and largest organization of early childhood professionals.

NAEYC accreditation requires applicants to meet or exceed rigorous standards including a safe and healthy environment for children, degreed and highly qualified teachers, and a goal-oriented curriculum that addresses all aspects of child development. Accredited schools are subject to unannounced visits by assessors to ensure all academic and environmental standards are being maintained.

Fewer than 10 percent of all child care centers, preschools, and kindergartens in the U.S. earn NAEYC accreditation. The exclusive designation also helps families recognize quality early learning programs in their communities that are committed to delivering a world-class research-based education. The Gardner School's Glenview-Northbrook, Oak Brook, and West Loop campuses also earned NAEYC accreditation in 2022.

"Our teachers and administrators are committed to helping every student build a solid foundation for their future education," said Tammy Robinson, Chief Operating Officer at The Gardner School. "We're grateful for the opportunity to serve families in Schaumburg and to be recognized for our commitment to nurturing the academic, social, and emotional growth of our students."

The Gardner School of Schaumburg offers year-round childcare and early childhood education programs for both part-time and full-time students from infancy through kindergarten. With a full suite of on-site enrichment classes, a ten-week summer camp program, and highly qualified lead teachers, The Gardner School of Schaumburg serves as a premier preschool for families across Cook County, DuPage County, and surrounding communities in northeastern Illinois.
