Schaumburg Township District Library welcomes young adult authors Crystal Cestari and Rayaan Siddiqi for special programs for teens this summer.

Come to Schaumburg Library to meet the award-winning author of the popular Windy City Magic series, Crystal Cestari. She'll discuss her author journey, writing process, give tips for beginning writers, answer your questions and sign copies of her books.

Crystal will be at the Central Library Teen Place at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 28.

Then meet Rayaan Sidiqqi, the self-published teen author that wrote his first book, "The Switch Up," while in high school. He'll discuss the book, his writing process and his path to publishing.

Rayaan is a graduate of Conant High School and currently attends the University of Illinois at Chicago. Rayaan will be at the Central Library Teen Place at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 18.

Registration for both of these events is open now. For details or to register, visit SchaumburgLibrary.org/events or call (847) 985-4000. The Central Library is at 130 S. Roselle Road, Schaumburg.
