Bowl for the Torch March 19 to benefit Wheaton Warrenville students with special needs

Bowl for the Torch, a fun family event supporting Wheaton Warrenville Unit District 200's Special Olympics programs, will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 19, at Fox Bowl, 1101 Butterfield Road, Wheaton.

Registration begins at 12:30 p.m., with bowling from 1 to 3 p.m. and pizza at 1:30 p.m.

Cost is $25 or $20 for those age 12 or younger.

Registration includes two games of bowling, shoes, and pizza lunch.

Raffle baskets will be available at the event. If you are interested in donating a basket to raffle off at the fundraiser, contact Claire Mehta at claire.mehta@cusd200.org

This self-sustaining program is only supported through these fundraising efforts.

District 200 students with special needs at the middle, high school and transition level have the opportunity to participate in basketball, bowling, track or bocce ball.
